'E' Adjectives

My mother-in-law came over to stay with my youngest daughter yesterday while we drove my 14yo to color-guard camp. At some point, my youngest daughter went outside to 'play in the dirt' & my mother-in-law couldn't find her & called 911. Now - - my 7yo daughter never left the yard, but got scared when she came inside for something to drink & couldn't find her grandmother. I came home to find both of them crying. Life around here is never dull!

Adjective Photomasks

After much discussion, my 14 year old daughter & I have agreed on a format for her adjective album. She didn't like the large letters - but did like how the pages with photo-masks turned out. This time I'll be sharing the templates first and the Brag Book pages later. (She wants to pick the photos and/or take new pictures - we are sure of the final word choices.)

I'll share this set here as the only responses were in favor of blogs. However, I still feel that I'll get more feedback via facebook. (Please keep in mind that I do not sell things I make - it gets very discouraging to get little or no feedback!)

Y is for 'Yummy'

Each of our girls gets to pick the menu one night every month - this is usually fun for everybody as the items are not necessarily what I would put 'together' (for example, last month my youngest chose spaghetti & french fries) - but it is always 'yummy'!

Word for the Day - Xenial

Was anybody wondering what I would do for 'X'??? People that are xenial are hospitable and friendly. This word truly applies to my 7yo daughter. She enjoys cleaning IF we are getting ready for visitors and makes sure everybody has what they want or need. As you can imagine, she is the light of my life!!

V is for 'Vocal'

Tomorrow is the last day before my summer break!! I'm looking forward to spending time with the girls this summer. My youngest daughter is very precocious - the adjective for this page was chosen with a specific picture in mind. I took a picture during spring break where she is pointing her fingers at the dogs and giving them 'directions' for their time outside. You can almost 'hear' the lecture when you look at the picture!

Today was the last day for students at our school - - only two more days & I'm out for the summer too! I'm ready for a break this year. We don't have money for a vacation, but I will get to spend time with my daughters.

Once again, I had a hard time choosing a picture for today's page. Our daughter is truly 'unique'!!

Two days in a row - - can you believe it?? We are winding down at school. My oldest daughter is out already as she was exempt from all exams & my youngest doesn't have homework because it is the last week of school. I'm almost caught up with paperwork & didn't bring anything home to work on tonight.

I don't know about you, but I have a TON of pictures of my little cutie-pie being silly. The biggest problem we had with this page was choosing which one to use!

All of my children are incredible!! Choosing a picture for this page was hard - but since my oldest daughter wanted an album of my youngest daughter we chose one of the many pictures taken of her. New Bragbook Set!

I have to confess that I use this set of templates a good bit. It occurred to me that I should update the 'plainer' version of the set that was shared awhile back (pastel colors, no words on the letters). I have the set almost complete & will share at least one each day. If you would like a different adjective, leave a comment & I'll get it done as soon as I can!
